Why is implementing Social Interactive Model/Cooperative Learning important?

 

It is important to implement social interactive modeling so the students are engaged in higher thinking. This can also promote leadership and promote teamwork.  Without social interaction, students would not be working together and will be less focused and engaged in the lesson. The more students are engaged in the lesson the more material they will retain. Students can bounce ideas off each other and stay focused on the lesson. You should use interactive strategies in the lesson to involve the students, they can brainstorm and participate in group discussions.
